<plain_text><page sequence="1">PREFACE Miscellanies Part I was issued in 1925 and the present Part II like? wise contains Notes and Documents and Papers illustrating various periods of Anglo-Jewish history. Four of the Papers were read at meetings of the Society, and, on account of their brevity, find a place here instead of in the Transactions. The Index to the Papers that have appeared in the Volumes i to xii of the Society's Transactions and in Miscellanies, Part I, will be found useful by students.
