Jews' Temporary Shelter and Jewish Museum London Talks



The Jewish Museum London has three upcoming events, a talk and two workshops, relating to the Jews' Temporary Shelter.


17th March 6pm-7.30pm Online Workshop: Introduction to Geo-referencing Join us for a FREE workshop and learn how to transfer lists of data into map based visuals, using basic geo-referencing techniques. This workshop is open to all and will include practical activities using records from the Jews’ Temporary Shelter.


24th March 1pm-2pm The Lines of a New Horizon: Mapping the Jews' Temporary Shelter Discover the history of the Jews’ Temporary shelter focussing on its role in and around the Second World War. This FREE lunchtime talk will reveal new information gathered from record cards from the 1940s/1950s.


24th March 6pm-8pm Online Workshop: Advanced Geo-referencing Join us for a FREE workshop and discover how you can interpret data sets using a range of geo-referencing techniques. This workshop is open to those with a basic knowledge of geo-referencing and will include practical activities using records from the Jews’ Temporary Shelter.
