THE WINDOWS of MIDDLE STREET SYNAGOGUE, BRIGHTON or TWO STRADS and a POMEGRANATE
A look at some of the magnificent stained glass of Middle Street Synagogue and the lives of the famous and not so famous people connected with them.
Dr Michelle Cooperman trained as a research scientist with a PhD in DNA tumour virology and a lifetime of
experience as a bioinformatician using computers to solve problems in DNA and proteins. She started
documenting the artefacts belonging to Brighton & Hove Hebrew Congregation 6 years ago. A complete
photographic survey of the silver then spread to the windows of Middle Street Synagogue, all of which
