Join us for a powerful and moving memorial talk to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory over Japan (VJ) Day, remembering the Jewish Commonwealth military personnel who served in the Far East during the Second World War.
We are honoured to welcome back Martin Sugarman, Archivist of AJEX (The Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Women) and a leading authority on Jewish military history. Drawing on rare material from the AJEX Jewish Chaplain cards, Martin will present a compelling snapshot of this overlooked chapter in Jewish and Commonwealth history.
