About the event
Join us in person at the Wiener Library or online for the hybrid launch of the JHSE Oral History Archive.
Oral historian and broadcaster Alan Dein will be discussing the interviews he has recorded for the JHSE Oral History Project. The project documents the stories of its own members, from those who have a long association with the JHSE, to a new generation of the JHSE’s membership who are beginning their journey as historians. All the interviews and transcripts will be deposited in the British Library.
Dein will also be presenting a selection of audio extracts from the interviews, which offer a valuable record of the voices of those involved in the exploring the social, political and cultural history of Anglo-Jewry.
