About the event
Pam Fox will join the JHSE Essex branch to talk about the Jewish hotels and guesthouses of Bournemouth from 1914 to the present day. This talk will draw from the research conducted for her book on the topic, Jews by the Seaside: the Jewish hotels and guest houses of Bournemouth which combined an extensive review of the Jewish Chronicle with over 100 interviews with people who stayed in, worked in or ran the hotels and guesthouses used by Jewish holiday makers.
