About the event
Isabelle’s books describe the remarkable contributions made by British born women to many areas of British public life in the twentieth century, including in the areas of science, medicine, politics, law, religion, journalism and the arts. Rabbi Dame Julia Neuberger said of the book that: “It is to Isabelle Seddon’s great credit that she marks the contributions of the early pioneers, as well as those who have done sterling work in more recent years”.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase at a discounted rate.
Hester Abrams was a Reuters international journalist and magazine editor and later Director of Jewish Book Week. She is now writing a book inspired by her work spearheading a multi-million pound heritage conservation project at Willesden Cemetery which opened to the public in 2020.
The event location will be shared with attendees prior to the event via email - do look out for…
