About the event
Guest speaker Susie Barnett BEM
Susie was born in 1938 to parents Minna and Arthur Frankenberg in Hamburg, Germany, the youngest of 4 children. Susie's siblings came to Britain on the Kindertransport. Her father spent 8 months in Sachsenhausen concentration camp, and then emigrated to China for the duration of the war. Susie and her mother escaped from Germany to Britain.
