About the event
We welcome back Lola and Ronnie Fraser, who have been very actively involved in researching the role of the Jewish community in the Great War. This autumn the British Jews in the First World War project along with AJEX are celebrating 100 years since the publication of the British Jewry Book of Honour a 1000 page volume listing (almost) all the Jews who served in the First World War. This commemoration will begin with an event at the Fusiliers Museum at the Tower of London on October 24th and this talk will be the first of many which are being given around the country.
The talk will also be available on Zoom via the JHSE website at JHSE.org and is free to JHSE members. There is a charge of £5 for non-members either in person or on Zoom. We very much look forward to welcoming you at Ralli Hall, or on Zoom.
