North London

Synagogue Window Mosaic

The North London branch of the JHSE organises regular talks about subjects of Anglo-Jewish and wider Jewish interest. Often these talks are by authors of recently published books, in which authors speak about their books.  The talks take place in members’ homes or in community centres. The branch also intends to organise visits to exhibitions and archives and it will organise screenings of films on subjects of Anglo-Jewish and wider Jewish interest.  The branch is co-chaired by Nick Sayers and Deborah Jay.  Nick Sayers is the author of 'The Jews of Lithuania - A Journey through the long Twentieth Century’.  Deborah Jay is the author of ’Napoleon’s Other Wife’. All are most welcome to join the north London branch of JHSE.
